An odd reason to write my first post. I can’t concentrate on doing the work I intended to do.
My grandmother is in the hospital. Her situation is not immediately life threatening. But what if it was? What if it was during an emergency? I had to assess my medical abilities.
What can I fix? Not much. But I can do a couple things IF I have the equipment.
Can you buy IV bags and catheter kits? If so, where?
It’s not a hard task to do and hypovolemic shock kills so many. I know that shock has a cause and it takes more than a bag of fluid to fix a lot of the problems. But I can see dehydration being a potential serious problem in an emergency. Something to ponder.
Good luck and Godspeed,
Sledgehammer
