Ind. General Assembly approves bill barring employers from banning guns on workplace property – WXIN
Opponents say the bill can lead to workplace violence. Supporters say it merely allows people with legal rights to carry weapons to keep them locked up in their cars at work.

I’m torn on this.
Why this is good:
I don’t think that anyone should be able to infringe upon my right to life or my right to self-defense.
Why this is bad:
I don’t think anyone should be able to infringe upon my right to set rules and guidelines for activities and visitors to my property.
Why the law is a fair compromise:
It doesn’t force employers to allow workers to take firearms into work areas. It simply requires that workers be allowed to keep a firearm in their vehicle. The decision to prohibit workers from having a firearm in their vehicle has repercussions outside of the work area. It idsarms them all the way to and from work.
Why this law is idiot:
This law doesn’t apply to women shelters. I guess they figured it would be horrible for batered women to defend themselves.
Why the opponents are idiots:
Once again, their argument is that it will lead to increased violence. Why won’t someone with more influence than me cry bullshit? The anti’s said that in every state every time they were considering concealed carry. And they’ve been wrong EVERY TIME. I ain’t got no college degree, but I can see a patern.
